In partnership with Memphis in May’s international salute to the Republic of Ghana, Urevbu Contemporary is pleased to present ‘Where I Come From’, a solo exhibition featuring the recent creations of Theresah Ankomah. The exhibition showcases the most recent creations of Theresah Ankomah, a Ghanaian artist from Accra whose amalgamation of the techniques of painting, printmaking, and weaving create bold, colourful works that reflect her origins and story. Theresah’s exhibit invites viewers to a visual re-discovery of colour, a reconsideration of gender norms, family, consumerism, and sustainability.

The exhibition will be on view from the 5th of May until the 31st of May 2022. For more information, please visit Urevbu Contemporary.
