First Title

The Silent Auction takes place annually in Cape Town, South Africa, to raise funds for the Michaelis Fourth Years’ graduate exhibitions, catalogues, along with the Michaelis Bursary Fund which supports many students during their time at the school. The graduate students hope to bolster this support system with a substantial contribution of their own, giving back to the community of their tertiary education.

This year’s Auction will take place on Monday, 5 August, at the SMITH (56 Church Street). Various artists- both established and emerging- have generously contributed many beautiful works of art towards this year’s auction. Some of this year’s contributions have been created by artists such as Jody Paulsen, Georgina Gratrix, Simphiwe Ndzube, Jake Aikman and Zarah Cassim.
