First Title

CAAM COLLECTIVE (Contemporary African Art Masters) is a new age art gallery located in the heart of Cape Town’s trendiest area, De Waterkant. The collective has also founded and curates The De Waterkant Fringe Art Fair™ which is managed and run from the same premises as CAAM Collective.The Fair is due to run from 4- 30 September 2014.

The Hudson building that plays host to CAAM is an icon of design, executed in good taste and is also synonymous with ORIGIN coffee and LOADING BAY multi store. CAAM COLLECTIVE space provides a unique opportunity to artists, collectors and galleries that are invited to showcase their work. The general mode is creative, interactive and conceptually contemporary for likeminded individuals to collaborate on a sophisticated art platform.

De Waterkant Fringe™ aims to be one of the most sophisticated exhibition spaces showing South African and International work in Cape Town. CAAM COLLECTIVE will be attracting high quality industry related art, design and photography exhibitions in conjunction with other galleries and museums.
The collaboration with these visionaries is key focus for our business and will play integral part of our brand and growth in the market place.

With regards to the business format of the Collective the gallery runs as a permanent group exhibition showcasing contemporary work including photography, sculpture and paintings.
The De Waterkant Fringe™ is a registered trademark driving the brand and the business concept forward. Artist are invited to be part of the collective and are also invited to entertain the idea of participating in the Fair/ Group Show.
 
De Waterkant Fringe Art Fair

The Collective is hosting its first fair on the 4th of September 2014 running till the end of September 2014.
The exhibition will start from 11H00 till about 10H00 on the evening of the 4th.
The exhibition will comprise of a majority of Cape Town artists including the likes of:

The show will run on a continual monthly basis with new artist and work being added to the Collective body of art.
These rotating exhibitions add to the diverse and often eclectic mix of work on show but always with an aesthetic standard and quality of work in mind.
