We would like to thank those of you who participated in the first phase of our project 100 GOOD IDEAS: Celebrating 20 Years of Democracy. It was an amazing process for us, and an incredibly inspiring book to put together. It reminded us of why we decided to do this project in the first place and emphasized just what a great country South Africa is to work and live in.
The project brings together three key areas of focus that are very important to us: creativity, sustainability and positive change. This book signals the launch of the project, which will run for the full duration of World Design Capital 2014, and beyond.
Now that the book is completed we eagerly await the first printed copies, which are expected at the end of February. The book will be available for purchase for the first time on the Art South Africa stand at the Design Indaba Expo between 27 February – 2 March 2014 (stand 425).
The second phase of our project is commencing and we are calling on everyone to join the GOOD IDEAS network; to connect, promote and share your GOOD IDEAS with us as part of our officially recognized WDC 2014 project.
