If you are a senior art student, retired or just have some time on your hands and would like to be involved with the magnificent Ellerman House private art collection, we would like to invite you to apply to become a voluntary part time art guide. Requirements for the position are that you must have a good general knowledge of art, especially South African historical and contemporary art, be available to do tours of the collection at short notice, relate to people and be able to accompany prestigious local and/or international guests to art galleries and museums in Cape Town.
This position does not provide a regular income. Our guests requiring an art guide during their tour will determine the regularity of tours and this cannot be guaranteed. Remuneration will be discussed during interviews.
We are looking for people with a passion for art and who wants to be part of the Ellerman House Family.
