Writing Art History Since 2002

First Title

“We are here to help other lost souls breaking through the rigid system we are leaving on, to remind others that life can be simple with joy and creativity and that we are here to build a strong and joyful nation, to remind others that we are Humans.”

– Lizette Chirrime, FINALIST

Chirrime chose to work with fabric as it holds a special meaning to her – a belief that sewing pieces of fabric together represent a healing process. All the trials the artist had to go through in her childhood and in her life, all the broken pieces could be mended together.

To be whole again.

The work can be provocative, but the goal and message are the same: the message is one of love and unification, to remind others that everything is possible if one only believes.
