Cape Town-based documentary photographer Dale Yudelman is the winner of the prestigious inaugural Ernest Cole Photographic Award.
He will be exhibiting a body of work shot on his cell-phone entitled ‘Life Under Democracy’. This exhibition, hosted by the WITS Art Museum, opens on Thursday 5 September and runs until Tuesday 25 September.
The artist describes the works as ‘vibrant daily reflections, shot in passing, with the simple motivation of noticing what is’. The exhibition is accompanied by a book published by Jacana Media.
